Friday evening, seven former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in a NBA game. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from May 14.

Best of the day: Jalen Brunson

  • Jalen Brunson (Stevenson/Mavericks)- 25 minutes, 19 points, 8/11 FG, 3/4 3PT, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, a team-high 1 block (tied with Luka Doncic and Dwight Powell), 2 turnovers, and +4 in a 114-110 win over the Raptors.

The rest of the performances of the day:

  • John Konchar (West Chicago/Grizzlies)- 22 minutes, 15 points, 5/7 FG, 2/4 3PT, 3/4 FT, 2 offensive rebounds, 5 total rebounds, an assist, and -4 in a 107-106 win over the Kings.
