When I was younger, I remember seeing Danielle Steele books on the nightstands and shelves of older cousins and aunties. Maybe near the Harlequin Romances and Jackie Collins books? That lead me to pick up a few as a young reader, though I cant remember one story. But, certainly the name is familiar. Which is why I was prepared to revisit this prolific author as an adult, when her latest release popped up in my new book feed in Libby. Sort of like having fries from McDonalds..not necessarily good for you but, tasty, comforting and nostalgic.
