Here’s to a fresh start,
Here’s to today,
A clean, open slate,
And a bright warm day.

Here’s to serenity,
Here’s to all life,
A chance to just smile again,
In entirety of strife.

Here’s to our families,
Here’s to all the hope,
That keeps us from tumbling down again,
Down this wicked hole.

And as the sun did shine on us,
I hope it still will do,
A new year’s in the wind and skies,
It’s time we bloom anew.
